What Is Thyroid Reset?
Thyroid Reset is a self-paced online course from The Feel Good Again Institute for people with thyroid symptoms and “normal” labs, and for people already on thyroid hormone who still do not feel right. It teaches the full thyroid panel, the difference between normal and optimal ranges, and the eight areas (nutrition, inflammation, toxins, liver, infections, stress, hormone balance, and supplementation) that decide how well your thyroid works. It is education, not medical care.
Does This Sound Like You?
Who Is This Thyroid Course
Built For?
Thyroid Reset is built for the person who has done the appointments, heard “everything looks fine,” and still feels far from fine. It suits women and men with thyroid symptoms and normal labs, people already taking thyroid hormone who do not feel right, and anyone who wants to understand the causes before adding another pill.
- Your labs are “normal” but you have many symptoms of low thyroid function.
- You already take thyroid hormone and still do not feel like yourself.
- You want to know what is affecting your thyroid, beyond another pill.
- You suspect an autoimmune thyroid condition, such as Hashimoto’s, and do not know what to do next.
- You want a root-cause, functional health approach you can follow at your own pace.
- You want to walk into your next appointment knowing exactly what to ask for.
Perimenopause and Menopause
Could My Perimenopause or Menopause Symptoms
Be Thyroid Related?
Perimenopause and menopause bring real changes: disrupted sleep, fatigue, brain fog, mood shifts, weight gain, joint aches, palpitations, and a body temperature that no longer matches the room. Those same symptoms overlap almost completely with low thyroid function. Both can be true at once, and how you feel will not tell you which is which.
Too often women are told that feeling exhausted, forgetful, anxious, or unlike themselves is just what these years bring. It may be. It is also worth finding out whether your thyroid deserves a closer look before you settle for that answer.
Thyroid Reset walks you through the symptoms, the lifestyle factors, the lab conversation, and the foundational habits that support thyroid health through the menopause transition, so you can tell the two apart instead of guessing which one you are living with.
The Complete Picture
Why Does a “Normal” TSH
Miss So Much?
TSH is one signal from your brain to your thyroid. It says nothing about whether the hormone your thyroid makes is converted into the active form, whether your cells can take that form up, or whether your own immune system is targeting your thyroid. That is how you can be told everything looks fine and still feel nothing like yourself.
Most of your active hormone is made outside the thyroid, which is why one number can look reassuring while the rest of the picture is not. Illness, medications, supplements, and even the hour your blood was drawn move that number around. There are other markers that finish the story, and most women are never shown them. Inside the course you learn which ones they are, when to have them drawn, and how to ask so you get them.
The rest of your hormones change the answer too. Giving thyroid support to a body running on low cortisol is like starting an engine with no fuel. Sustained stress can push these numbers around enough that a panel drawn during a hard stretch does not describe your baseline. Estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone each change how much thyroid hormone is free to do its job.
| What you were told | What that answer never covered |
|---|---|
| “Your TSH is normal.” | Whether your body is converting that hormone into the active form your cells run on. |
| “Your thyroid is fine.” | Whether your own immune system is targeting your thyroid. |
| “Your labs all look good.” | Whether the one marker you were given was the right one to draw that day. |
| “Come back in a year.” | Why you feel so much worse than a single number says you should. |
There is a difference between a lab range that means “barely getting by” and one that means thriving. The course shows you both.
What You Will Learn
What Does the Course
Cover?
Thyroid Reset covers six modules that move from understanding your thyroid to the daily practices that support it: how thyroid hormone is made and converted, the eight-step system, the gut-thyroid connection, environmental triggers, thyroid hormone options, and autoimmune support. Each module is short, practical, and built to watch at your own pace.
Understanding Your Thyroid
How thyroid hormone is made and converted, why TSH-only testing leaves you in the dark, and the full panel to ask for.
Finding Your Balance: The 8-Step System
Nutrition, inflammation control, toxin removal, liver support, clearing infections, stress management, hormone balance, and targeted supplementation.
The Gut-Thyroid Connection
How gut bacteria help convert T4 to T3, why a leaky gut can trigger autoimmune responses, and how to support your gut.
Environmental Triggers
The toxins in food, water, personal care products, and your home that interfere with thyroid function, and how to reduce them.
Understanding Thyroid Hormone Options
Natural versus synthetic, T4-only versus T4 plus T3, and why one type does not suit everyone, so you can have an informed conversation with your own physician.
Autoimmune Support
Dietary and lifestyle strategies that support the immune system when the thyroid is under autoimmune attack, as it is in Hashimoto’s.
Why the Order Matters
Why Does a Thyroid Course Start With Your Liver and Your Gut?
Most thyroid advice starts and ends with the thyroid. This course starts with what is in the way. A liver that is overburdened and not processing hormones and toxins properly, a gut that is inflamed, and a body carrying a large toxin load cannot respond properly to thyroid hormone, supplements, or lifestyle changes.
Clear the path first, then support the thyroid. That is the order in the course, and it is the reason liver support, gut support, and the toxin checklist are built into the course alongside the thyroid trainings.

Questions People Ask
Questions About the Thyroid Reset Course
My doctor says my thyroid is fine. Do I still need this course?
If you have symptoms of low thyroid function and “normal” labs, this course shows you what a TSH-only test misses, which tests to ask for, and how to support thyroid function through nutrition, gut health, liver support, stress, and the rest of your hormones.
I already take thyroid hormone but still feel bad. Will this help?
Yes. The course explains why thyroid hormone alone is often not enough, and addresses the gut health, toxins, nutrition, stress, and other hormones that affect how well your thyroid hormone works. You keep working with your own physician on any prescription decisions.
Could my perimenopause or menopause symptoms be thyroid related?
They can be. Disrupted sleep, fatigue, brain fog, mood shifts, weight gain, joint aches, palpitations, and temperature changes belong to both the menopause transition and low thyroid function. The course teaches you how to recognize the symptoms, the testing that tells the two apart, how to support your overall health for the best results, and what to ask your own physician.
Is Hashimoto’s more common in women during perimenopause and menopause?
Hashimoto’s is far more common in women than in men, and it is recognized more often as women get older. A current clinical review puts the global prevalence at roughly 7.5 percent, with about four times as many women affected as men. That overlap is one reason thyroid symptoms get mistaken for the menopause transition.
Does this course cover hyperthyroidism or Graves’ disease?
No. Thyroid Reset covers low thyroid function and Hashimoto’s, along with the nutrition, gut, liver, toxin, and stress factors behind them. It does not cover hyperthyroidism or Graves’ disease. An overactive thyroid needs a physician’s care, and this course is not a substitute for it.
Will this tell me which supplements to take?
The course provides evidence-based supplement strategies, including what to avoid, so you do not push any nutrient to a level that harms the thyroid. It also teaches you to test before you supplement, because the right amount for you depends on your own results.
Can I do this without a functional health practitioner?
You can complete the course and apply the nutrition, lifestyle, gut, and liver strategies on your own. Working with a knowledgeable practitioner is still valuable for personalized guidance, testing, and any prescriptions you may need.
Is this course for men too?
Yes. Thyroid function affects energy, weight, mood, and brain function in men as well as women. The testing guide, the eight-step system, and the gut, liver, and toxin protocols apply to everyone.
How do I access the monthly community calls?
Once you enroll, you will receive the call details. Calls are held on the first Tuesday of every month, and replays are available if you cannot attend live.
